Matthew Barber isn't exactly new to the scene but I'm calling this his best album yet (especially considering this is his way of breaking a three year release hiatus). He's straight outta Toronto and of course keeps our non-American trendencies going. Mixing together pop, folk, and country elements, the production is on point and the layering is pristine. Just wait for those pianos to bust out in track 2!
