Alice Smith is awesome. Saw her for the first time live when she opened up for Citizen Cope in Louisville at Headliners. She came out to encore with Cope for 107 degrees and she dropped some dope rhymes a la reggae and stole the show. On top of all that I finally picked up her album a lil while back and the album art was done by none other than Audrey Kawasaki who is perhaps my favorite artists (like art artist, not music artist). I haven't double checked this factoid cuz it's just my eyes telling me but its unmistakeably Kawasaki's style (see here). Anyways, this is a great album... get it and ear track 01 and 06 cuz they are also highly noteworthy.
