MGMT - Electric Feel
Tracklist:
01. Electric Feel
02. Electric Feel (Justice Remix)
Genre: Electronic Indie/Electro
Website: www.myspace.com/etjusticepourtous | Buy!
Release Date: 2008
Label: Sony BMG
So this post is really just to get this remix out there. MGMT is a big enough band and well known enough for me to not post their album (yet...?). Justice on the other hand is a sick duo out of Paris and has some bomb remixes - one of which happens to be here.
This ultimately goes out to two amazing women. Katelyn, who is still at Miami, for being obsessed with this remix every time I played it this summer. The second girl who also happens to be the caterpillar of my life is Mlle Leslie who lives in Paris and knows the two guys from Justice. Cheers to that. Tu me manques!
Oh, and if you can't read french, the translation of the myspace link is "and justice for all"... clever eh...
Welcome!

justice is far more popular and successful than mgmt
i would argue that point. geographically speaking mgmt is far more popular in my locale (the US) but lately justice has been picking up a lot of sway. thanks for the comment though - it's certainly true in a relative way.
i'd have to agree with anon... justice in 2007 blew up bigger than anything ever and started the remix revolution of 2008. you can argue that if it wasn't for the blog house community (that was spurred on by the justice explosion) exposing the masses to the hundreds upon hundreds of MGMT remixes, that mgmt wouldn't be half as popular or listenable as they are now.
both have their individual merits, and both are great bands depending on who you ask (i love both)... but mgmt hasn't yet gotten the backlash effect of being 'too popular', where justice mosdef has that tag already
