Imaad has been around the block, playing for the bands Alaska!, lowercase, and The New Folk Implosion. He even toured with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs in 2006. I believe he is truly redefining modern folk-rock, though you could argue that is not what it is at all. Either way its good for your ears.
