Local Natives - Airplanes

Tracklist:
01. Airplanes
Genre: Indie Rock
Website: Myspace | Bio
Release Date: Early 2009
Label: Unsigned
Something I consider to be the biggest perk of loving music enough to run a promotional blog is the direct contact with the artists. Promoting music for your friends is incredibly fulfilling in so many ways. Yet again I have the pleasure of being messaged by a great up and coming band - Local Natives. I love the name, it's ironically redundant in a way that makes me question my knowledge of the English language but ties strongly to the tribal feel of their music. Harmonious vocals a la plenty and happy go lucky get-your-dance-on vibes make me wishin I was presitigious enough to receive more than this single promotional song. Check out the bio link; although you can't buy anything there you can luckily check out an official review to whet your appetite for anything and everything Local Native (I suggest bookmarking their myspace and checking back often). As put best by the song Airplanes, when it comes to Local Natives, "I love it all."
