An album jampacked with covers, NYC's own Jesse Malin released this earlier in this year and I enjoy a few good covers almost as much as I enjoy a few good remixes. From what I've found this album has received mixed reviews and I'll say I agree because I've got mixed feelings myself. Guess that's because a remake of a good song is pretty hit or miss depending on who you are and what your own take on the original is. But, kudos for tackling it Jesse. My favorite? Me & Julio cuz it's a great song redone just fine.
